Understand shapes, size numbering and how to order the right tips.
Tips are offered as full cover (covering the whole nail) or half cover, with different C-curves. Lengths range from short and medium to long, XL and larger sizes. Soft gel tips are flexible and soak off; harder tips are used with acrylic or gel overlay.
Each tip line is numbered from the largest (usually #0) down to the smallest (often #9 to #11). Size is based on the width across the widest part of the tip, measured in millimetres. The table below is a general illustration — exact widths and lengths vary by mold, and we provide the chart for each one.
